a haiku to end the season by
the geese of my heart
wing away, south, from you and
this bone-breaking cold
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
a wood that lasts
I know only this--
this singing sting, this stinging
song of redemption

What struck me when I read these: you write and you are not afraid of what you know.
These haikus are poignant, cutting, brave. You inspire me.
apparently you write haikus very well. i have a bunch of your poems printed off that i put in a binder with mine but i wonder what i have missing. do you have yours all in one spot? i miss you, by the way. in case you didn't know.
