warum schlafe ich nicht?

I'm pretty sure that's horrible German and I'm sorry.

I miss German. It would be so fun to be fluent, or at least closer than I am now.

Here are a couple of things I just read and enjoyed:
A man needs a woman who believes in him and a woman needs a man who cherishes her.
People take sincere interest in people who take sincere interest in them.

I had the blessing of being in Lansing on Tuesday night for a couple of friends to get engaged and basically share the moment with us. It was fun. And I am soooooo happy that they are getting married. They're great, and they're great together.

When I close my eyes and start to drift to sleep with my fingers still on the keyboard, "The Messiah" is singing in my ears. Fabulous. I'm going to sleep.
