I'm listening to Damien Rice and he's so stinking good. Yes, stinking. I wear words out like Kevin "kills" CDs. (You buy them and then play them until they're dead and they go hiding in the grave of your CD case for six months. I don't do this, but Kevin does, and I do it with words.)
Why'd you say hallelujah if it means nothin' to ya?
My day was wonderful, which is why I'm posting for the second time today. I did everything I planned to do--except see you at the rock, which I was simply too tired to go to--TE 150, ENG 310, lunch, nap, Cub Scouts, Farmer's Market, Bible Study, and even something I hadn't exactly planned on, which was going for a run after Bible study. I returned to my room to find Steph and Kev in an intense discussion. Katie and Katie were spectating, and Scott and Nicole were having their own discussion on the couch.
I love that there are people in our room almost every night.
I also love banana bread. With lots of butter. And M&M's.
I also love that I pretty much got paid to play with 1st-4th graders today. We played duck-duck-goose, freeze tag, and had handstand and cartwheel contests. My partner, Ryan, is cool and it was interesting to see the kids respond to him. I was glad he remembered to bring candy, a necessity that Maeghan and I forgot on Monday.
And so it is
Just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time...
I sense the weekend coming. Izzone campout in t-minus 2 days... :)
Goodnight all. Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
