I'm pretty sick. My lungs hurt, my throat hurts, my body hurts. I'm really glad Kristin talked me into going back to UrgentCare this morning. Unlike Thursday, I was in and out in under an hour, and they actually diagnosed me and gave me a prescription - azithromycin, Doni, if you're wondering. It's bronchitis I have, or an upper respiratory infection, and Nicole pointed out that the odds are it keeps coming back (almost exactly every 2 months) because I've never gone to the doctor, just slept it off the last two times.

So hopefully this is the end of that.

Both times I went to UrgentCare, they asked me 3 questions: to rate my pain on a scale of 1-10, if I smoked, and if I felt safe in my home.

And it hit me: I have a safe place to sleep at night. Think about the beautiful blessing of that statement.

I have a safe place to sleep at night.

Wow.

remember when we were in 12th grade, and michelle and viv would say, "chlamydia, chlamydia, chlamydia..." ? i do. i double checked it when i read that, and it's definitely the medicine i typed the first time... no wrong letters... so that's interesting :)

whatever it's doing, i'm feeling loads better already.
